FALSE PRIDE

Definition of False pride: A high or pretentious opinion of oneself, one’s abilities, or one’s circumstance that is not based on real achievement or success.
Synonyms of False pride: swollen-headed, egotistic, conceited, unproductive, futile, vain, etc.
